Natural Whetstone, blue - Belgian Whetstone

The “Belgian Whetstone” is very special. The ancient Romans already knew the specialities of this stone, which exists in the Belgian Ardennes in this unique Quality. Even today the “Belgian Whetstone” is known as one of the best whetstones in the world. Since ca. 1625 this stone is mined in a small region in the Ardennes. That deposit is approximately 480 years old.

The Belgian whetstone is easy to use and provides convincing results. With the Belgian whetstone through the addition of water a unique, natural grinding paste is created on the stone. This grinding paste is the base for easy and efficient sharpening. Many top chefs, knife makers and professional users swear on this special whetstone.

The already legendary and often copied but still unrivalled PRT (Pocket Rescue Tool) from Eickhorn has been extended by an innovative and frequently demanded function. 

Every professional user probably knows the scenario: in major events, numerous disposable handcuffs are used in case of mass arrests. But how can these disposable handcuffs be cut later without any danger for all people involved? 
We have managed to integrate a permanently usable plastic cuff cutter, which can be used under all adverse operating conditions, into a deployment tool that almost everyone should carry with them in their personal equipment - a rescue knife.
The PRT LEO - has all the features of the PRTs that have been tried and tested for years. Furthermore, in cooperation with the police and military forces, we have succeeded in integrating a cutter for disposable handcuffs.  
The swivelling lever integrated in the back of the handle presses the plastic handcuff onto the sharp, exchangeable blade and separates it easily and, above all, without risk of injury for the police counterpart or the task force, since the sharp blade does not have to be unfolded.

The Eickhorn Hunter Knife Set "Waidbesteck" include the Boar Hunter Knife and the Para II GS.

The knives of the Boar-Hunter series meet the requirements of the modern hunter to a functional interceptor. It has a 259 mm long, hollow grinded dagger blade and an ergonomic, glass fiber reinforced plastic handle. This knife is a lot away and at the same time disinfectable. It is available in three handle colors and two blade colors. There is also a polished “Exclusive” version.

The Para II with G-10 handle is availible in brown, green, orange or black.

By default, the knife comes with a leather sheath.  A Kydex sheath is available as an upgrade.

The Eickhorn-Solingen cutting board for your daily cutting tasks. Quickly cut Bread, or Sandwiches for your child's lunchbox. This small cutting board is best for these kinds of tasks. Of course, your cut-up treats can be served straight on the cutting board.

Lovingly handcrafted by a small local company in the neighbouring city of Wuppertal, every cutting board is unique.

The cutting boards are laboriously refined so the surface is very flat and achieves a picturesque appearance. After being cut and machined/engraved every single board is surface treated multiple times. The wood is oiled by hand and then rested for 24 hours so the food-safe oil can permeate into the pores. After drying the surface is once again smoothed crosswise by hand before once again being oiled and dried for 24 hours. This process is repeated at least 3 times. Subsequently, the surface is sealed with food-safe beeswax. The goal of this intensive surface treatment is to obtain a surface that is as smooth and sealed as possible. This achieves a picturesque appearance and surface feel as well as protection from moisture ingress. The smoother the surface and the deeper the oil has permeated, the better the protection against moisture.

• Treatment: The cutting board was already treated with food-safe oil and the surface was sealed from moisture ingress using wax. If required simply treat again using linseed oil, olive oil, or special wood oil. If desired the cutting board can be resealed with wax. Waxing again increases protection against moisture ingress. By regularly oiling and waxing the board achieves longer durability.
