Integrating the advantages of the successful Eickhorn PRT Rescue Knife into a large, stable everyday folding knife was an often submitted customer request. The Eickhorn Provocator was specifically developed to fulfil this request. The slightly modified blade design of the PRT-Series covers a broad range of applications. The rearwards-slanted Ricasso enables the so-called wide forward grip, with which the index finger safely rests on the blade's base, which enables precise cutting. The 4mm thick blade made from Böhler N695 Stainless Steel is coated using a black Kalgard coating. The user-friendly alignment of the blade facilitates re-sharpening, even for untrained users. The Eickhorn Provocator is optionally available with a partially serrated edge, which makes cutting fibrous materials, like seat belts or ropes, easier to cut. The double-sided, strong thumb lifter enables safe and fast opening of the Blade at any time, even with gloves. Two 1.5mm thick hardened Stainless Steel Liners, 4mm thick G10 or Aluminium handles, as well as an aluminium spacer covering almost the entirety of the handle's back make sure the knife does not yield even under high loads. Two Torx screws secure a trouser clip that keeps the Provocator in tip-up position ready for use at all times.
