The rising demand for a compact, stable and robust tactical knife prompted us to, in close cooperation with members of operationally active troop units, develop the Eickhorn Ranger. The Users’ requirement catalogue envisaged use as a Tool, for example for prying doors, removing insulation from Wire, cutting belts and ropes, and breaking glass, as well as the use as an effective weapon in operational missions.

The 5mm thick, 11.5mm long tanto-blade from Eickhorn Professional Plus stainless steel with partial serration copes with these diverse requirements in any situation. The screwed, 3mm thick G10 handles with “”Rough-Grip”” surface offer a secure grip even with wet hands. In-use as a carrying system is a high-quality multi-functional Kydex sheath with Multilock. Optionally we also offer a smooth blade without serrations.
