These were the parameters for the development of the Eickhorn GEK-series. Eickhorn has created appealing knives for the outdoor user. This knife series extends from a low-cost first-time user model to the high-end quality professional outdoor knife. 
The GEK knives are made of 3 types of Eickhorn Steel (Professional, Professional Plus and Enhanced) and are made exclusively in Solingen.
For the production of the knife handles we have chosen tried and tested materials such as aluminium or G10 (GEK and GEK-EDC) and glass-fibre reinforced polyamide (Wolverine-GEK). All knives of this series come with a leather sheath and are available with blades with bead blasted finish or with black Kalgard coating. Furthermore, the customer has the option to choose between a standard or a serrated cutting edge.
